This reinforced concrete residential building in the heart of Nicosia-Egkomi showcases our structural engineering expertise in challenging urban developments. The 6-story structure features pilotis at ground floor level to accommodate resident parking, with 5 residential floors above containing 3 apartments each within a 220m² footprint. Our structural analysis and design addressed two critical architectural challenges: optimizing column placement within the constraints of the pilotis parking layout, and implementing Eurocode 8 seismic requirements for buildings exceeding 3 floors. This involved comprehensive capacity checks at beam-column joints to ensure structural integrity during seismic events. The project demonstrates our proficiency in reinforced concrete structure design, foundation engineering, and compliance with Cyprus seismic design standards for residential developments serving architects, developers, and independent clients across Nicosia.
