This architecturally impressive two-storey structure presented significant structural engineering challenges with its bold cantilevering design. Nearly half of the first floor level extends beyond the ground floor footprint, creating a dramatic "floating" appearance that required advanced structural analysis and specialized reinforced concrete solutions. Our structural design incorporates spacious internal areas and accommodates an external swimming pool while ensuring structural integrity of the extensive cantilever system. The project demanded innovative engineering approaches to achieve the architect's vision of a structure that appears to "stand on air" while maintaining safety and durability standards for residential construction across Cyprus.
